This year’s Autumn School once again attracted great interest. With over 60 participants from academia, legal practice and related professional fields, the event provided a platform for discussing issues that are rapidly reshaping our legal and social landscape.
Organised in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, the Institute of Comparative Law, and CITPE, the programme brought together outstanding experts who explored a range of different topics:
the militarisation of outer space and its implications for the environment, human rights and global security,
new forms of digital violence against women and the challenges they pose for effective legal protection,
the use of artificial intelligence in military and surveillance systems,
and the development and governance of AI, including Slovenia’s forthcoming regulatory sandbox for artificial intelligence.
