Why do so many people long for an authoritarian leader who would make decisions on their behalf? How is it that in today’s society rudeness has suddenly become the new normal? How does invisible rudeness transform society, and could it really be eradicated simply by introducing appropriate rules?
“Rudeness is accepted and, in a way, we ourselves propagate it every day—by liking various rude messages, by behaving rudely in our private lives, by not saying thank you, or by not giving up our seat on the bus,” Renata Salecl said in a conversation with host Marcel Štefančič.
