“We live in a time when the line between war and peace has blurred”

“My proposal is very simple: we should stick to the rules we already have — the United Nations Charter, which says when the use of force is allowed. If these rules were followed, there would have been no preventive attack on Iran by the United States and Israel last June; no Israeli strikes on Syria; no Russian invasion of Ukraine; no Turkish attacks on the Kurds in Syria; and no attacks on boats in the Caribbean. If we consistently followed what has long been written down, we would have avoided the chaos we see today,” Dr Vasja Badalič told Primorski dnevnik.
