The Turkish translation of The Age of Rudeness by Renata Salecl, philosopher and researcher at the Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, has received an enthusiastic response from readers. The first print run sold out in just one month, and the book has already been reprinted.
On this occasion, Renata Salecl took part in a discussion entitled Living in the Age of Rudeness in Istanbul on 9 October 2026. The event took place at the Sevgi Soysal Library in Taksim, where she spoke with Bülent Somay, a Turkish philosopher and academic, about the themes explored in her book and the manifestations of rudeness in contemporary society.
