From 12 to 14 November 2025, a meeting of the Network of National Anti-Trafficking Coordinators of South-Eastern Europe (NATC-SEE) took place in Sarajevo. The meeting was also attended by our researcher, Marko Balažic.

At the event, Marko Balažic presented a paper entitled The Challenges of Prosecuting Human Trafficking in Slovenia, in which he provided an analysis of court practice in the field of human trafficking offences in Slovenia over the past ten years.

The Network of National Anti-Trafficking Coordinators of South-Eastern Europe (NATC-SEE)¹ gathered with the aim of developing and exchanging solutions to combat human trafficking, migrant smuggling, and labour exploitation. During the meeting in Sarajevo on 13 and 14 November 2025, network members presented updates on their recent and upcoming regional cooperation in support of victims, as well as case studies on the identification and prosecution of human trafficking cases.
