Lora Briški
Researcher
Lora Briški is a researcher at the Institute of Criminology and an assistant professor of criminal law at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. She has studied Law at the University of Ljubljana. After completing her postgraduate studies, she worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Criminology. She also completed an internship at the Ljubljana High Court during this time. She graduated with a thesis on the possibilities of modifying the dispute parameters during the criminal trial. Since starting her PhD in 2019, she has worked on a number of research projects at the Institute of Criminology, including a study on sexual offences, psychological mechanisms in the legal context, and consistency of sentencing in criminal proceedings.
