
Vasja Badalič
researcher
Vasja Badalič is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Criminology. After finishing studying philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, he started conducting research on the military, political, and economic aspects of contemporary armed conflicts, in particular how armed conflicts affect civilians. He also conducts research on migration. Before joining the Institute of Criminology, he worked as a freelance journalist. He reported for the Slovenian news media on social, political, and military issues from Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
